#MeToo Workshop

Now You Can Take the #MeToo Reckoning Workshop as a Self-Paced Course!

Are you looking for resources and encouragement to tackle the problems of #MeToo and #ChurchToo? Recently, I collaborated with Dr. Eileen Campbell-Reed to create a four-week online course for clergy and volunteer church leaders — anyone who wants churches to respond more appropriately to sexual abuse.

This course is now available in a self-paced, online format. It includes four session videos, a bonus video on Trauma Informed Care, and 20 downloadable handouts — which contain practical ideas for Bible study, worship, advocacy, and action. The course also includes a signed copy of my book, The #MeTooReckoning: Facing the Church’s Complicity in Sexual Abuse and Misconduct.

Thank you for joining the work of making the world a more just, healing, and equitable place.

The Topics We Cover

We designed the course to equip you to prevent & respond to sexual abuse in your faith community:

  • Challenge Patriarchy and Power
  • Empower Prevention and Response
  • Reimagine Ritual and Liturgy
  • Envision a New Beloved Community

Includes a Signed Copy of My Book

You’ll also receive a signed copy of my book, which Publishers Weekly named one of the “5 best religion books of 2020.” Since its publication the topic has only become more timely. The book includes ten true stories of sexual abuse within mainline Protestant faith communities, each interwoven with a scripture story.
